Lindy
Endres’s childhood was filled with an array of dance styles, recitals
and show choir competitions. Upon graduation from Sauk Prairie High
School in 2003, Lindy attended UW Stevens Point to receive her BA in
dance. With her goal in sight, Lindy dove into the world of college
dance and choreography, only to become sidetracked by the musical
productions UWSP had to offer. ‘CABARET’, ‘Seussical the Musical’,
‘Crazy For You’ and ‘AIDA’ occupied her time when she wasn’t in dance
performances or teaching Fosse and musical theatre movement workshops.
Lindy did partake in professional shows during her college career-a
soloist and dance captain at Playland Park in Rye, New York, and a
dancer/soloist in Chula Vista’s ‘Fab 50’s’ show in Wisconsin Dells where
she was also cast as Rizzo in a ‘Grease’ medley, and Anita in a ‘West
Side Story’ medley. These shows ignited Lindy’s flame for singing and
created a new-found goal; to become a professional singer.
After receiving her BA in dance, she moved to Chicago in 2007 and began pursuing her conquest as a professional singer. After three years of studying jazz, Lindy performs live in and around Chicago. In addition to being a jazz vocalist, Lindy is a dance/fitness instructor at FFC & Flirty Girl Fitness in Chicago. She is an AFAA Group Fitness Certified instructor, INSANITY™, WERQ™ , FIERCE4™ and BOOTY BEAT™ certified. Being employeed at Flirty Girl Fitness has given her opportunites to appear on FOX-‘Good Day Chicago’, The CW-‘You and Me in the Morning’, and ‘Everything Healthy TV’ to feature classes she teaches. In September of 2013 she introduced a new class to the studio, DROP, which is a cardio dance class combining sexy hip hop and twerk choreography. Lindy teaches a wide variety of classes at Flirty Girl including:
